Hello! My name is Rebecca Glines and I am a designer, photographer and marketer residing in Sacramento, CA. I am currently a student at Grand Canyon University. GCU is located in Pheonix Arizona but I am finishin gmy degree through their online program and am set to graduate November of 2021. Before attending GCU, I was a student at American River College where I graduated with four associates degrees: Marketing, Sales and Promotion, Language Studies and Deaf Studies and American Sign Language.
I’ve loved being creative since I was little, regardless of what I was doing. Whether it was drawing Disney characters, coloring completely in the lines in coloring books, or playing with my Grandpa's camera when I wasn't supposed to, I grew up doing all things creative. As well as growing up with a creative eye, I have always enjoyed the analytical side of things. In high school, I was able to get into the work force and started working at a local church and grow my experiences. I was a part of the creative team in which I was able to start designing and using my photography skills. I grew into the Design Lead for the youth ministry, the Lead Photographer for the church as well as, being the church’s social media design coordinator. My talents soon began to be noticed around my church which lead to several opportunities including: marketing and planning for an EP release, clothing design, artist branding, photography sessions, entertainment planning and productions, social media promotions, sound booth and lighting analytics.
When I began my college career, I decided to focus on the two things that I enjoyed the most in life, being creative and dabbling in analytics. While working towards my degree completions in Marketing and Sales/Promotion I took a Deaf Studies and instantly fell in love. I continued to take more Deaf Study classes which has led to my third and fourth degrees in Deaf Studies and American Sign Language and Language Studies. In completing my third and fourth degrees, I did decide that I do not plan on using Deaf Studies as a career, but plan to use American Sign Language and my knowledge in Deaf Studies alongside my career when it is needed.

This was my first commissioned piece that I sold for $400. Medium used was charcoal.
Here's a little bit more about me...

I am one of THOSE Disney loving people. My great grandma was a cartoonist for Walt Disney so being a Disney lover wasn't really an option for me.

I love to travel and go on new adventures. I have already been to Hong Kong, Cambodia and Romania and plan to continue to add to this list in the near future.

I love to be and hangout with people and I highly value the friendships and relationships in my life.
